In fact Mr. Dorf makes a point of saying his plays are subject to copyright laws, intellectual property rights laws, and are subject to royalties. From what I gather so far, people who publish plays (i.e. publishers) don’t want other people (including the author) posting the content to websites.

But the above said, I’m going to make one exception. The third play, “The Day My Father Met the Lord” is a 10 minute play, no setting to speak of so it’s really simple production, and I was going to make it available to non-profit groups anyway. Of course anyone who charges admission will have to pay royalties. And I might point out my plays are registered with the US Copyright Office . So stay tuned and I’ll have the play available in another blog post.

Secondly, I’ll be working on other ideas as time allows. I need to finish up “Augie”, and see if I can get it produced.

And I want to keep exploring the art of playwriting, and see where it takes me.

Well that’s it. Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!

If you have been following my posts, you know I am a playwright in the making. As of now I have not had my works published, or performed in front of a paying audience. Thus the “in the making”.

[5,3

post-86","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-commentary","category-plays
["GET
