{"id":1387,"date":"2012-04-24T15:45:45","date_gmt":"2012-04-24T22:45:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/libernetics.com\/?p=1387"},"modified":"2012-04-24T15:45:45","modified_gmt":"2012-04-24T22:45:45","slug":"crossfit-rest-time-is-part-of-the-strategy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/libernetics.com\/?p=1387","title":{"rendered":"Crossfit: rest time is part of the strategy"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Yesterday I really wanted to workout. \u00a0But for the wrong reason. \u00a0I often feel like I should be working out every day. \u00a0Some crossfit\u00a0athletes\u00a0do. \u00a0What I want when I work out is total commitment. \u00a0Just going in because I think I should isn&#8217;t\u00a0conducive\u00a0to getting that total commitment.<\/p>\n<p>I had worked out on Friday and Saturday, resting on Sunday. \u00a0So I decided not to go in on Monday, and enforced a rule that I need at least one two-day rest during a week. \u00a0A four day schedule is enough for me, as long as I get 100% of the workout.<\/p>\n<p>So I went in today rested and in a good mood. \u00a0I ran an 800 in 3:30. \u00a0Theoretically it means I can run a 7 minute mile.
