Crossfit Diaries Project: 100 Short Essays on the Sport of Fitness.
The rules? Simple. Tell me your Crossfit story in your own words. Whether you are an athlete, trainer, box owner, sponsor, we want to hear from you. Let me know why you got involved in Crossfit, tell us what inspires you about Crossfit.
All those moments you laughed, cried, suffered, cheered, and went beyond where you thought you could go — tell me! Want to give a shout-out to someone who helped you? We’re listening. If you want to mention a person or product or service that you really like, go for it. As long as it’s Crossfit related, it’s good. So feel free to endorse anyone or anything that relates to your Crossfit story.
You can send along a few sentences or a few paragraphs. Even if it’s just a quote that inspired you, send it on and tell us how it inspired you. I have no problem at all publishing multiple submissions. Don’t worry about style, just say it the way you feel it. You can read about my own experience here: Crossfit: 1 Year Later. Here’s my CrossFit Games 2012 profile.
You can submit as many times as you want to. Once we get 100 stories, I’ll publish them in an eBook, and maybe even a hard copy. The eBook pricing will be $3.99, and for the first 90 days of sales I’ll donate $1 to Operation Phoenix for every copy sold.
If you are a sponsor of any Crossfit event, I’ll include your logo. In other words I’ll give you ad-space. For example the companies that supported the Sac-Town Throwdown. You contributed to Crossfit, and there should be a reward for that.
It would be great to be published in time for the Crossfit Games in July. I will be posting excerpts as we go along, so check back to see the progress.
Just fill out the form below and tell me your story. 1-2-3 go!
